Occupational Therapy Guidance for childhood development

EasyOT is run by Alicia Myburgh, a registered occupational therapist with CAOT and COTBC. She is further a registered Autism Spectrum provider.

I provide occupational services to children and families in their homes as well as in environments that the child is familiar with.
​
Second to this I create OT resources which mums and dads can use in the home with their child.

Alicia Myburgh, Occupational Therapist
I am an occupational therapist who really enjoys working with children who need a little boost to assist their development.
Children are so resilient, there is no way not to want to be involved!

I am enthusiastic about creating independence and a quality of life for children. I believe in working closely with parents and caregivers to allow for carry over in the home and school environments.
Services
Occupational therapy in my practice focuses on a Sensory Integrative Approach. My method is also informed by the use of DIR Floortime and the SOS approach to feeding. Parental involvement in therapy sessions is encouraged where appropriate to facilitate carry over between therapy and home environments.
